Commercial Opportunities is a trading name of Symatec Ltd. The operator of this platform, and the party you contract with, is Symatec Ltd.

Commercial Opportunities is a paid advertising platform. We publish adverts supplied by owners and by professional agents acting on an owner's instruction.

We are not an estate agency and not a broker. We do not take commission, negotiate transactions, value assets, give advice, handle offers or hold deposits of any kind.

The fee to advertise one opportunity is £99 in total. No VAT is shown. No further fee is payable on completion of any transaction.

Payment is taken before our review. Paying the fee does not guarantee that your advert will be published.

Where an advert is approved, the 60-day advertising term begins on the day it is published, not on the day payment is made.

Where an advert is rejected outright, it is eligible for a full refund of the £99 fee. Where we request changes instead, you may amend and resubmit at no additional cost.

You must be the owner of the opportunity advertised, or a professional agent appointed by the owner with instruction to advertise it. You confirm this at the point of submission.

Information you supply must be accurate and not misleading, including the section, category and transaction type applied to the advert.

You must not upload confidential financial packs, customer databases, employee records or private lease documents to this platform.

We may request changes, reject, pause, expire or remove any advert at our discretion where these terms are not met.

Adverts are supplied by third parties. We do not verify trading figures, rents, yields, lease terms, planning status or licences.

You must carry out your own legal, financial, planning and property due diligence, and should instruct your own solicitor, accountant and surveyor before committing to any transaction.

Nothing on this platform constitutes an offer, a valuation or professional advice.

Enquiry forms collect your name, email address, an optional telephone number and your message. This is passed to the advertiser so they may reply directly.

Advertiser email addresses are never published on the site.

Requests for confidential information are passed to the advertiser, who is solely responsible for qualification, any non-disclosure agreement and the exchange of documents outside this platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the contents of any advert, or from any transaction entered into between a buyer and an advertiser.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
